8 km off to the right along the Milas - Bodrum road, one hits the port town of Gulluk. Fishermen and cafes line the harbour front here. Gulluk is not as busy as Bodrum and its closeness to Bodrum airport, and beaches have made Gulluk popular. There are also a few boat yards here trying to be competition for the Bodrum boat yards. Prawn season is a time to be in Gulluk.
